Loved the book for a driving tour of Ireland,
We used this book during our recent trip to Ireland to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The plan was to spend a couple of days in Dublin (recovering from jetlag), and then drive around the country at our leisure. This book was perfect for this, organized around different regions of the country, showing highlights for 1-2 day drives in each area. We selected several drives on the West Coast, and 1-2 down South. The book tends to avoid the most popular tourist stops (Bunratty Castle isn’t even in there), and focuses more on hidden treasures, nice hikes, friendly towns (and PUBS!). The ideas for how to see the Cliffs of Moher and other hikes along the coast were great! Happy reading.

|CAN’T BEAT A DK GUIDE,
My husband and I lived in Europe a few years and did a lot a traveling there. We found DK guides to be very easy to use adn accurate. Unfortunately we didn’t get to go to Ireland yet, but I have a lot of experience and confidence in DK.
