I just got the iPhone 4 from Verizon and wanted an extra charge cord (just in case). I got this in the mail and it looks a little cheap but who cares…it works! I plugged it into my laptop and it started charging and brought up itunes right away just like the apple one. If I ever need yet another one I will be buying this one.

I purchased this product hoping to avoid overpaying for the ‘official’ Apple brand version. I figured these were all extremely overpriced and didn’t want to pay the price at the stores so I checked online. I placed my order and received it within about 2 weeks, a slightly longer wait time then I had anticipated but I wasn’t in a rush to receive it, since I just needed an extra cable for work/car. So far, the cable works and maintains all the functionality of the original cable that came with my iPhone 4 and even looks/feels similar. I haven’t had any trouble and its worked well so far. My only complaint is that this item was listed at $1 or so with free shipping. When the item arrived I was charged $2 for shipping because the item didn’t have any postage. I thought that was odd and very unprofessional. I paid it reluctantly but in the end it still cost me far less than the apple brand and other similar products in stores. I’d give this 4.5 stars if it weren’t for the peculiar shipping situation which I let slide but made me wonder,how many people have had the same issue?
