Great for breakout-prone adult skin,
I am in my late 20′s but unfortunately still suffer from blakcheads and breakouts occasionally, despite the texture of my skin feeling rather dry. I only get oily in the summer. Anyone who takes good care of their skin knows that no matter what your skin type, you must moisturize. I have found this to be a great option to deeply moisturize my skin without causing breakouts or excess oil. I also think the Vitamin C compoenet brigtens my complexion. The scent is like fresh oranges, so wonderful to wake up to! It is quite thick and rich even though it is oil free, and may be a little heavier than you are used to, but feels great after you get used to it.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good moiturizer that feels rich and elegant, but may be nervous about breakouts or sensitivity. The fact it is organic and responsibly made is a big bonus, I like that I don’t have to use my “leading drugstore” brand anymore and can find good results with something more natural.
The only reason it does not get 5 stars is that I don’t see a dramatic imporvement in clearing the scarring from previous breakouts. I would like to find a product which does that as well.
It does not have SPF, which does not bother me, becuase the texture of the product is so right, I would not want them to add SPF and change the texture… I tried the SPF lotion version of this exact line of products and did not like it as much as this cream. So I have to make sure I get my SPF protection from something else…

|The product I can not do without!,
I love the Avalon Organics Oil-Free Moisturizer! It works great on my normal-to-dry skin at any time of the year, in the night or in the morning and even under make-up. It smells great too. In fact the delightful-but-not-overpowering scent is what attracted me to the product line in the first place, in addition of course to it being organic and paraben-free. This product has been reigning on the top of my list of facial moisturizers for a while now.
However, it can get really pricey since it retails at about $20 (without taxes) for a 2 oz jar at most stores including Whole Foods, Target, CVS, etc. And that’s where the goodness of this seller comes in, haha. A total of $14.66 with free shipping is definitely the best deal I’ve found so far on this product. I hope the price continues to stay reasonable and the shipping continues to stay free. Will be happy to purchase this product from here in the future!

|Wonderful little moisturizer!,
I have combination oily-normal skin. This product has a great citrus scent to it and takes care of dry patches instantly. At first I was a little taken aback with the small amount of product in the jar but I soon found out it only takes the smallest amount, just a little bit on your finger, to get the job done; this jar could easily last me years. It feels great on, can’t really tell you’re wearing it, while also appearing to improve my complexion as well as healing the dry skin.
Because it’s winter time, I started getting some dry skin spots on my hands, and I wondered what this product might do for that, so I dabbed a little bit on my dry spots and just like on my face, it moisturized them immediately, leaving no trace of the dry skin. After a few days of putting it on a couple times a day, my dry skin was cleared up!
The only downside to this product is that after I put it on around my forehead (which is where I have the worst problem with oil), the oily skin came back faster than it would without the product. However, it still took most of the day before it came back and I feel that the benefits of this product far outweigh that downside. When I need another jar many many months from now, I’d happily buy this product again.
