Nice product,
We bought this product to replace a 30 year old fan cover. It fits perfectly, although we had to build out the opening; the old fan cover was a surface mount style.
The only concern is that the pins, attaching the shutters to the pivot points, are plastic. It works perfectly, but we hope that the plastic endures.

|Damaged Product,
Not sure if this was the fault of the manufacturer or the shipper, but this product was damaged to the point that it could not be used when it got to me. It was bent pretty badly on one side which made it unusable.
However, the manufacturer was very prompt with getting me a new fan…so that is a plus. The second fan looks to be in good condition at first glance.
