Are not these kinds of extreme sports dangerous? ”If you exercise 14 hours a day, something will inevitably explode,” said Dr. Sharon Chirban, a psychologist at the University of Harvard, as reported by fitsugar, Wednesday (22/06/2011).

“Most people who exercise compulsively, I have come across, their bodies end up with injuries, then it all falls apart because they can not exercise anymore,” he explained.

For women, excessive exercise would be very problematic. Therefore, it can create a hormonal imbalance, menstruation stops, and make bones brittle.

“There is also a condition called staleness in which the positive effects of exercise turns into depression and fatigue,” said Dr. Paul Powers, author of The Exercise Balance.

The desire to control your body and what you eat too obsessive over the exercise can also be symptoms of an eating disorder, like bulimia or anorexia. Signs of addiction to sports like other types of addiction, namely sports interfere with your life, you do not get through the day without exercise, and when you look at the injury or illness because sports are common.
